Lloyd Banks debut album from 2004. For me, this is one of the best albums in 2000's, OK, maybe not in top 10, but is in my top 50 list for sure. Production side is perfect with producers like Havoc, Timbaland, Eminem, Hi-Tek, Ron Browz and more. There are some great features with 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Young Buck, The Game, Tony Yayo, Eminem and Nate Dogg.
I've heard this album way back in 2004, soon as it went out and I can highly recommend you it.
I think that Lloyd Banks is very underrated, of course he has been in 50's shadow for years, this album should get much more props. Even though it went No.1 US Billboard that year, critics weren't that good, and score was 66/100 which is just an average/good album.

1. Ain't No Click feat. Tony Yayo - With Havoc on production, this is album classic song, I didn't like Tony Yayo's part in this song, but Lloyd Banks went in though. 88/100

2. Playboy - Decent song, Ron Browz could do better job on it, Lloyd was OK. 70/100

3. Warrior - Good song, I especially like the chorus. 75/010

4. On Fire - With 50 Cent on the chorus, the song can't be bad. Eminem was the producer, probably No.1 hit song of the album, Lloyd Banks in full effect. 90/100

5. I Get High feat. 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg - Very chilling song, all three of them fit perfectly in this one and I like it. 82/100

6. I'm So Fly - Second single of the album, Timbeland as a producer, another classic. This song went Top 25 in that year, respectively. 83/100

7. Work Magic feat. Young Buck - Former G-Unit member Young Buck fits in to this song very good, with dirty south beat. I wasn't fascinated by Lloyd in this one, he was good in the chorus. 80/100

8. If You So Gangsta - I don't know why, but I really like this song. Lloyd Banks's flow is so unique in this one, and I just love it. Beat is sick, produced by Chad Beatz & Sha Money XL. 80/100

9. Warrior Part 2 feat. Eminem,50 Cent and Nate Dogg - Wow ! Just wow ! Eminem produced this track, and I gotta be honest: This is one of the best beats Em made in his life! Just a classic track, with Nate Dogg (R.I.P.) who's giving that West coast beauty to it, Eminem went in hard in the beginning, 50 Cent was good, Lloyd didn't even had a big part in this song, so this more feel like song from some of Em's albums. Classic. 92/100

10. Karma feat. Avant - Third single of the album, song for the ladies. It was ok, beat is chilling, chorus is kinda singable,all in all it's OK song. 70/100

11. When The Chips Are Down feat. The Game - Same beginning like Terror Squad-Hum Drum, one of the last songs that The Game did with Lloyd Banks and G-Unit. He was unknown rapper, and this song was one of his first songs that he talked about being shot in 2001. Good production, I like this song. 83/100

12. Til The End - Another song produced by Eminem, Lloyd Banks shows us his flow in this one. Nice chilling song. 80/100

13. Die One Day - Probably the worst song on the album. I don't like the production, it's pretty awkward, and Lloyd Banks doesn't fit into the beat at all. It's produced by Baby Grand, I gotta be honest, I've never heard of him. 60/100

14. South Side Story - ''In the streets of New York you can't trust nobody
Nigga's will run up on you wit a 12 gauge shorty
Loyalty comes free and smokin' weed is my hobby
You wanna rob me your gonna leave here wit a body''.
Enough said. Classic south song, beat is nice, I especially like the chorus. 77/100

15. Just Another Day - He went agressive on this one, I like it. 82/100

Brooklyn, NY rapper, of Dominican descent who got to make his apperance as the only guest rapper on Nas' classic album 'Illmatic' on the song "Life's A Bitch" in 1994. AZ cut his own album a year later, Doe or Die, but due to lack of promotion, the album didn't do as well as other established artists such as Raekwon's "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx" or Jay-Z's debut, "Reasonable Doubt," even though it is considered just as classic as those albums. It was followed by the sophmore slump 'Pieces of a Man.' It was on par, lyrically, but the beats, mostly handled by the Trackmasters, didn't come through for AZ. Since his album flopped, he left Noo Trybe and in late 1999 early 2000, he released an independent album SOSA (Save Our Streets AZ). Motown (yes the R&B label) heard his album and was interested in releasing it commercially and decided to give AZ a record contract. He was supposed to carry them as a serious rap label, but again, due to promotion, his album, 9 Lives, didn't sell as well as he'd liked, though it was critically acclaimed and touched on all aspects, lyricaly and musically. His follow up in 2001, Aziatic, sold a few more albums than 9 Lives and is just as great an album as Doe or Die and 9 Lives. AZ has since left Motown and is rumored to be making an independent album with Nas which is supposed to be titled "Alpha/Omega." Only the future will tell.
